I didn't find it confusing at all, but as much fun as it was to watch Naveen and Orla chew scenery and have D/S vibes, the arc plot was mostly really, really boring. I liked the self-contained episodes better.
I didn't get the show until it came out on DVD here. Didn't know it existed until someone on my flist mentioned getting into it. It wasn't widely advertised in Canada unless you watch Space, which... not very many people do. I really would have liked more of a fandom. Maybe the Syfy broadcast will bring a few people in. As it stands, I'll keep writing fic over here in a corner. By myself.
