According to tvwise.co.uk, Sinbad will not be getting a second season.

Ugh, I'm not surprised, but I was hoping it might be a show that got more of a fandom, and that probs won't happen now. :(:(:(:(

Not surprised either. I'm still holding out vague hope for the Americans. It still hasn't broadcast there yet. Otherwise, I guess I've got a couple fic in the works?

Dude, I'm surprised how sad I am about this. IT COULD HAVE BEEN SO GREAT. Can you imagine if it had taken off? So much fun.

I assume the Land of the Dead trying to reclaim Sinbad? Maaaaybe. Or something else, because Lord knows this show did not place a high premium on coherence.

I know what you mean. I was super bummed when I read about it. I have very fond memories of Hercules fandom, which was a pretty similar show.

I was thinking more Monster Escapes from Land of Dead to Rule World. Or something.

Yeah. :( It could have been like Merlin but less dominated by one pairing and with a whole different cultural background and even more ridiculous costumes! Also one more woman.

Oh, yes, a possibility! I dunno, she was definitely a bit weird about Sinbad when they met her, and was staring at Sinbad when her eyes went black, but maybe the monster needs Sinbad to carry out its dastardly plan.
